Night was approaching the island, and Sawyer was searching for his tarp.

Where the heck could it have gone?

He left it by his stuff; maybe someone borrowed it. He asked around, but no one knew where it was. He tromped out away from the others as deep into the jungle as he thought necessary –he didn’t want to get lost like everyone else seemed to do around that place.

“God damned thing! It’s gonna rain tonight, I know it!” he thought to himself.

Just when he was going to turn back, he heard leaves and sticks crunch somewhere in front of him.

“Howdy, Juju, that you?"

Realizing it wasn't who he thought it was, he was starting to get creeped out. He turned to leave, but then he saw Charlie. There was a pregnant moment where Sawyer just stood wide-eyed, wondering if he was loosing it like everyone else.

“What the hell,” he managed to whisper.

“Nice to see you , too,” the hero said. “I need to ask a favor of you, Sawyer.”

His British accent was familiar; it was almost comforting, but then he remembered he wasn’t supposed to be hearing it.

“Take care of them. Claire, Aaron, Hugo. Take good care of them.”

Sawyer nodded once. Charlie looked to the ground, then said “Your tarp’s with your stuff, Sawyer.”

He looked back toward his few positions on the beach; when he looked back, of course Charlie was gone. He half ran back to the edge of the beach where is things sat. Sure enough, his green tarp was folded up and lying on his pillow.

Charlie!!!!!!!!

Sorry, it's been over a year and I'm STILL not over it. LOL.

But I really liked this. I like how you throw the tarp in as well. It ties everything in together.

Thank you! I'm glad a Charlie fan liked it; I miss him so much as well! He was my favourite one from the plane. :)
