So I faced my horrific fear that I've had since I heard of the movie's existence and saw 2012. It was pretty much just as traumatizing as I expected it to be, as well as being horrifically intense and soulcrushing... And it had characters that I actually legitimately cared about. And the ridiculous movie physics kept me from having panic attacks all over the place, although I came close a few times. The problem with science is that I don't understand it, so whenever people start babbling science stuff, I go, "OH MY GOD. THIS SHIT IS REAL. HEAD FOR THE HILLS."

It had a legitimately good story, however, and I wanted to SQUEE at the writers for linking up all the storylines in this lovely six degrees sort of way. The problems I had with it, of course, were storytelling things... Because God forbid you preach illogical movie physics to me. I will punch you in the face. Seriously. Movies and TV do not have logical physics and I don't want to whine and bitch about how THAT COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. ....That is a rant for another day, however.

But yeah. I had a HUGE storytelling issue that kind of killed the whole ending for me.



Also. The movie had Russians. I was not informed of this beforehand, but was happy they existed.

And I've been sick all day and as soon as the movie ended, I started getting crampy, which translated to me NOT being able to deal with humans well at all, so... Yeah, I'm spazzy and being more hypersensitive than usual, which means I'm probably going to sit in my grumpy corner. I should probably be in bed, but... I don't want to sleep yet. Mrrrh.

Today started out as one of those days where things went EPICLY WRONG. I woke up to an email that made me SPAZZ THE FUCK OUT to the point where I couldn't focus on anything until Mom got home, so I curled up and watched Dollhouse. Unfortunately, my ISP's servers were fucking up, so I couldn't sustain internet connection and it was stressing me out, so the first thing I did as soon as Mom came home was throw myself at her. And my mom, because she's a saint, went "...We'll go into town and deal with the problem in the email and have dinner and poke around some shops, and maybe your internet will be fixed by then."

....Seriously, y'all. I have the best mother ever. I don't know what I'd do without her.

So we made a town run, fixed the problem as best as we could, and I got some good movies for cheap and a burger and I was a happy girl, and when we got home, the internet was working again. Tomorrow we're going out for Chinese and to see 2012, which will likely make me freak the fuck out, but I'll watch it anyway, as... I wanna see a movie and it's the only thing on that looks interesting.

So yeah. Days can go from bad to good on a dime and I love my mommy. ^__^

Last night I had a dream I went to France with two characters that do not exist, whether in my head or anyone else's. The characters were not the important thing. The important thing was that I wound up in FRANCE WITH NO LUGGAGE AND NO CELL PHONE. And I couldn't make the hotel phone work, so I couldn't get a hold of my parents and I woke up panicking and flailing.

.... Shut up. I don't judge your nightmares. :|

I'm going to go make food now. Mom bought jalapeno poppers last night and for all that I don't like jalapenos at all, I was STARVING last night and it's never a good idea to go shopping with me when I'm starving and depressed. I will buy things that seem like a better idea at the time.

Also, I am no longer depressed and dying of anxiety. Mom bought me wine coolers, ice cream, and snickerdoodles, and I curled up on the couch, had some beef stew and Heathers and then had three wine coolers, a bowl of ice cream and cookies, and Fight Club for dessert.

....Shut up. I don't judge your coping methods.

Today, I am going to be productive. I have already done my tags and tagged into a few posts and there is more tagging to come. OH YEAH. This week will turn around, so says me. I have plotstuff this weekend. AWESOME plotstuff. And I can send in Topher's app on Sunday. Yaaaay!
